I chose FHU because my sister attended and, when I would visit her, I felt like I was a part of the community rather than just another visitor. Students did not just introduce themselves to me, they invited me to eat with them or play video games.
I am from Valdosta, Georgia, which is about 8 hours from Freed. Moving to FHU was a very easy transition for me all because of the close knit family that is here at Freed Hardeman.
