Being at FHU has been life changing. I've only been here for a short time, but I have already learned so much about life. Not only have I learned about life, but I've also met some of my closest friends or "family."
I've gone on mission trips to Oregon each of my last two spring breaks at Freed-Hardeman and plan to go for a third time this spring. It's been an incredible experience each time serving and encouraging the community and church there. But as much as our groups have done for the people in Oregon, the church there has encouraged and inspired our groups even more to continue finding ways to live out our faith for Christ passionately in difficult circumstances.
